Scoops Ingredients – Christmas Pudding Pack




In this pack:

  • 115g / 4oz Self Raising Flour

  • 85g / 3oz Shredded Veg Suet

  • 340g / 12oz Mixed Fruit (currants, raisins, sultanas)

  • 115g / 4oz Dark Brown Sugar

  • 55g / 2oz Mixed Peel

  • 55g / 2oz Cherries

  • 1 Teaspoon Mixed Spices

You will also need:

  • Pinch of Salt
    (Currants, Sultanas, Raisins)

  • Grated rind of 1/2 Lemon

  • 2 Medium Eggs

  • 2 Tablespoons of Brandy or Milk


•  Grease a 1.2 litre (2 pint) pudding basin.
•  Mix together the dry ingredients.
•  Add the fruit, eggs, brandy or milk and mix well.
•  Cover and leave overnight
•  Stir well and make a wish!
•  Put the mixture into the prepared basin, cover with greaseproof paper and foil.
•  Steam for 8 hours and then allow to cool.
•  Store in a dry place.
•  When required, steam for 2 hours before serving.
